I mean, the title kind of says it all.. this year has been strange... but also very good for me!
SHOCKING I KNOW,, EVERYONE SEEMS TO BE DOING KINDA BAD OR KINDA GOOD AND I'M JUST VIBING HARD IN THE CORNER~
I've had my share of ups and downs sure, but this year whilst the world is trying to move when trying to sit in a chair stuck to molasses, I've taken a lot of the year to truly reflect on myself and my capabilities that I just.. wanted to share, especially with how distant I've been on this site.
I've mentally been in one of the best, constant moods in my life for the past 3 weeks straight now? I'm just.. so pumped and so energetic and wanting to do things, but I'm also taking the time out to just take breaks from art and I've noticed that I'm more motivated to do one large piece a month and lineart or sketches rather than constantly trying to aim for the borderline impossible. I'm slowly easing myself into my work and after years of attempting to beat myself mentally to work due to eduaction... I finally feel motivated to art??
IT'S SUCH A NICE FEELING TO FINALLY LIKE DOING THE ONLY THING I'M SKILLED AT LMAO
With the big things I've done this year and looking back on them,, I'm just so motivated to work and actually continue to work when I feel like doing it. Still.. need to focus on my focusing skills as they're still in the hell dimension but I'll get there eventually. xDD
I can't really think of many downs this year, I haven't really thought much about the world and what's going on.. I just know that I'm going to do much better next year, both for you guys out there who support me and myself.
Also,, I can finally eat decently again?? Still can't eat as big of meals as I used to when I was a kid,, but I'm actually actively making myself lunch and eat almost all of my dinner and the more I think about it,, the wider the smile on my face. xD
Little thing I wanted to say since I'm just really personally proud of myself. uwu
My aims next year?
- Doing more gift art
- Trying to gain motivation to do more realism to hone in my art skills
- Showing more of my lore either with Webtoons or Animations!
- Keeping my artistic motivation up and looking after myself!
